Com tristeza que comunicamos o falecimento ontem, dia 26.03.2025, em Santos-SP, do ibateano SYNÉSIO BARBOSA DE MELLO, aos 90 anos de idade. Synésio estudou no Ibaté de 1950 a 1955. Sua Ordenação Presbiteral ocorreu em 08.07.1962. Exerceu o sacerdócio na Paróquia Santo Afonso, no bairro do Ipiranga em São Paulo. Após alguns anos deixou o sacerdócio para se dedicar a trabalhos pastorais como leigo. Construiu uma bela família, com 4 filhos e 10 netos. Mais um pedaço de nós que foi para a Casa do Pai.
